Choice of the Heart was recorded on the heels of Ho‘okena's debut album. It continues in the spirit of its predecessor, offering innovative approaches to old songs like Lumaha‘i and Old Plantation, while presenting fresh material like Lei ‘Ola‘a and Kahalihi‘ula, each with the potential of becoming Hawaiian classics.
